I was watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory [the one with Johnny Depp] and raised some questions:

Does Charlie have any aunts or uncles? Does Willy Wonka have a mother? What is her name? Does Wonka have sisters or brothers? Does Charlie have sisters or brothers? What is the name of the person who made the false ticket in Russia?

I know that in the first one...the dude is south america had a name... In the original, there was no father. In the original, Willy Wonka held no grudge against families, though he DID tell Mike Teevee to open his mouth wider and to speak much louder. Thank you for your answers so far. These same questions are also on my 360 page.

No other family is mentioned for Charlie. In the original, his father isn't mentioned. The new one, he has both parents. None of Wonkas' family is mentioned. Charlie is an only child. And I don't remember the name of the guy, or if it was even mentioned. But, interesting fact here:

The picture held up by the Paraguyan newscaster announcing the finder of the last golden ticket is of Nazi henchman Martin Bormann. The joke was that Bormann was Hitler's right-hand man who, in theory, escaped and wound up in Paraguay.

Found it, lol.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is finished.
The end has come. The fifth and last Golden Ticket has just
been found right here in Paraguay. The finder is lucky

The original was completely better and the rest of these characters weren't even in the original. Charlie had grandparents and a mother, Wonka's family was never mentioned, Charlie is an only child, and the person who made a false ticket was in South America.

I go by the book. Charlie is an only child.

The man who made the false ticket never existed in the book but was added when Roald Dahl wrote the screenplay for the first movie version

Charlie's aunts and uncles died from the plague.

Willy's mother left Mr. Wonka when she found out he fondled her while she was passed out in his dentist's chair. Her name was Wilma Wonka.

Willy never had any siblings because his parents split up and he was their only child.

As far as Charlie's sibling, they went the same way as his aunts and uncles.

The Russian's name was Igotcot Strokenov.
