I would list all the good qualities that you have and say how those would help you be a good president. Example: say you're strong-willed and will work hard to accomplish the goals set forth from the school and your fellow classmates. Good luck! :)

I would take the teachers in charge of the elections first off. And see what they are looking to change, when they see they have a student that will be on there side of views you will see you will be getting more time at the podieum as well as more attention. Not to include they are the ones that control those votes, I dont care if they are counted and placed in a box they control it.
As far as what to mention bring up the issues those teachers tell you as well go around to the very popular kids such as jocks, cheerleaders, and all the after school clubs and see what they want to change. And talk about those issues in there favor. You will see that they will pass the word around for you that you are the one to vote for and the other kids will follow along just because they said so.
Its not what to say but what needs to be said so that the average person in the school just hears it. If you are shy in anyway and cant ask these people these things you are doing the wrong field. If not take it on head first and do your best. I wish you the best of luck

Your campaign speech should include the issues and what you plan to do to resolve them. They should include: Healthcare, social security, Iraq war, education, womens rights, taxes and always remember that you are working for the people. We want honesty and solutions. You may be able to come up with a few more issues yourself but whatever you do, be yourself, be confident but not cocky and always tell the truth. This is the best advice I can give. It should never be a slamming of the other candidates. However, you should always stick with the issues. You won't ever go wrong with that.

And again, it is so common and so easy to ascribe motives to men of these classes, other than those they profess to act upon. The preacher, it is said, advocates temperance because he is a fanatic, and desires a union of the Church and State; the lawyer, from his pride and vanity of hearing himself speak; and the hired agent, for his salary. But when one, who has long been known as a victim of intemperance bursts the fetters that have bound him, and appears before his neighbors "clothed, and in his right mind," a redeemed specimen of long-lost humanity, and stands up with tears of joy trembling in his eyes, to tell of the miseries once endured, now to be endured no more forever; of his once naked and starving children, now clad and fed comfortably; of a wife long weighed down with woe, weeping, and a broken heart, now restored to health, happiness, and a renewed affection; and how easily it is all done, once it is resolved to be done; how simple his language, there is a logic, and an eloquence in it, that few, with human feelings, can resist. They cannot say that he desires a union of church and state, for he is not a church member; they cannot say he is vain of hearing himself speak, for his whole demeanor shows he would gladly avoid speaking at all; they cannot say he speaks for pay for he receives none, and asks for none. Nor can his sincerity in any way be doubted; or his sympathy for those he would persuade to imitate his example be denied

1. Use a bit of humour (just a bit) in order to be listened to.
2. Show your understanding of current issues - what students are concerned about.
3. Find out what issues are really important in your school. And what do you really believe about them.
4. Talk about whatever you are pasionate about. If you don't have genuine passion you'll be boring.

well don't mention that you got suggestions from strangers on yahoo answers, thats going to damage your credibility.

tell everyone how the rival school hates your school's lunch breaks.
that you will always stand up for lunch breaks and attempt to spread and lengthen lunch breaks across the district.

that you will try to convince the school to spend massive amounts of money on the football team until there is no money left for books.

that you will introduce a program called "all children get ahead" but don't tell them that in reality they will fall behind.

after the first quarter of a sporting event sky dive down and declare victory.

that you will annex the teachers' lounge under the guise that their coffee maker is a threat to the school as it might start a fire.

propose a school grounds environmental policy where you will make it let industries and waste disposal groups dump there. just make sure in your speech you call it something like, "beautify our school"

say that if the school administration doesn't like something you are proposing to do you will just ignore them, unless they support you, then you will listen to them.

contract out all the school maintenance, cheerleaders, and most of the sports team members. because they don't go to your school you can't be responsible for anything they do.

if someone speaks out against you (or you think in the future they might) declare them a rival school insider antagonist and ship them off and have them stored in lockers at another school where you rent the space.

stutter and mispronounce most of your speech

promise everyone everything you think they might want, don't worry you won't fulfill any of it.

Try selling yourself as being there for your classmates. I have never understood why a politician is so convinced they are best for the office when they probably know very little about their opponent. Sell yourself on what you think needs to be done and why you can make it happen; not why your opponent is not right for the job!

Copy the politicians - tell the punters what they want to hear - doesn't have to be true and you don't have to mean it - works every time.
