I have no idea what this bug is. Actually it's probably not considered a bug cuz it has 8 legs. A picture can be found at the following addy............. AND THANK YOU!

Oh no - I'm sorry about that. I hadn't even thought about you having to register to see the picture. It's not mine, so I didn't want to take it and save it to my own server, so I just linked to it.

That appears to be a pseudoscorpion, or "book scorpion." Your picture looks almost exactly like the photograph in the "Evolution" section of the Wikipedia article in my references, and you can also compare it to the host of images at "What's that bug?". They are more closely related to spiders than to true scorpions, and they deliver venom through those large pincers; they don't bite. And they are actually beneficial, since they prey on more pestilential bugs.

By the way, it might have been easier if you'd have put your photo on photobucket, which doesn't require registration to view.

I wasn't able to see your picture, but if you go to whatsthatbug.com you can find most anything you might run across. In fact, after spending some time looking at some of the bugs on there one day, I was pretty grossed out. They have some really good pictures and descriptions.
