They do. It is a taxable grocery item, it just doesn't have a special tax beside the percentage set by the state. And besides EVERYONE uses toilet paper, you have to. People do not have to drink or use tobacco. It is a choice that affects others, in negative ways, so they tax it to pay for the death and destruction they can cause.

Last time I checked toilet paper didn't cause other problems in society. I could be wrong though, that stuff is really messed up when its wet.

Because that is a NEED and not a LUXURY. The only reason people need tobacco is because of the niccotine that is stuck in it and people are to stupid to know what getting drunk is doing to their bodys. I feel they need to tax them both MORE!!!

Well, I think that they should have a fat people tax, where if you weigh over a certain amount you have to pay extra taxes on your food!!!! I also think that fat people should have to pay double at all you can eat buffets LOL!!!
