They are equally intolerant of the other. The only people they tolerate are the ones who agree. Otherwise instead of compromising and making a decision, they bicker back and forth to one another leaving the people who voted for them questioning themselves, and the people they voted for.

The more I read on yahoo answer the more the more intolerant seems to be the Democrats. That's not to say that Republicans are saints. There are as many intolerant republicans on this board as democrats. However, the vitriol runs deeper on the left. Just look at the volume of pointless hyperbole slammed at the Republicans on this board.

Democrats.

I think a full fledged pure bred Republican would be considered more intolerant because of their morality standing. Democrats are typically more liberal, supporting abortion and gay marriage for example, but I'm only talking straight exemplary Democrats.

I myself am a conservative Democrat who believes that our government should have an active role in education, health, and other social issues but who doesn't agree with gay marriage and other moral issues. I may also be seen as intolerant but only to a certain degree. Make sense? :)

I agree with John Skerry. My dad's bush/cheney sign in the last election was torn up by some people. I have not heard the reverse, so i think it might be democrats or Bush haters, one or the other.

Definately Dems. The republican Party has caught crap, stones, logs, and broken beer bottles to the face since the fifties and have simply sat back and took it, for the most part. If the Dems got a dirt clod thrown at them, they would scramble fighter jets, mobilize the armed forces, nuke the person who threw it and nuke him again for good measure.

Good answer Man of Honor.

A better question is "Why is everything an argument? What happened to civilized discussion in America?"
