Is limewire/MP3 Rocket Illeagal if you just download files and listen to the music? If it is should I uninstall it. I have been using it for about a year.

Noone ******* cares if you d/l illegaly or not. Its not like they have people monitering LimeWire that go "alright, out of the millions of people using Limewire, lets bust her, her, and him today." And if d/l for free is illegal then why the **** arent the websites that offer P2p programs like limewire busted. What goods it going to do to bust some 15 yearold when there millions of other people doing it.

Is it illegal I think Yes and no in a way. i can see that the music industy doesn't want people to steel music but yet some people are too cheep to buy it.
Look at it this way
You want to buy this shirt for 11 bucks and you don't want to buy it so u wear it out the store. Is that Illegal? Yes.
So
You wanted the all new hit song out there off limewire./mp3 rocket so you download it while msn music or Yahoo music is offering it for 1 buck- are you paying for the song? No, so in the end you stole the music
Also MP3 Rocket is just like Limewire looks the same too

Limewire is NOT illegal. It says it on their website. If you get in trouble and somehow end up in court, you can use that against them if it is. Because it's false and it tricked you into getting their produce. No idea about MP3 Rocket though.

limewire definately is, and like everyone else, i have no idea what mp3 rocket is. limewire as well as morpheus, kaazaa, ... besides ginving you free illegal music give you spyware and adware and viruses
