I agree with you. some of those too opinionated and also foolish and without content. The only speciality is - newness of the concept. i stopped reading blogs sometime ago. there are other and more efficacious ways of informing oneself and enjoying content available. Besides all blogs are one way traffic.

People has always the tendency to know about what plays in other minds. Reading other's diaries are that's why so popular. Today, people are spending more time on the computer and reading books and periodicals tend to take a backseat. Blog is a way to share one's views with others. Celebrity blogs and blogs dedicated to a specific target audience are more popular than others. People search out blogs that interest them. Being a content writer, I sometimes search out for blogs (any) and read them in order to brush up my style of writing. You may have your own reason.

To tell you the truth I really don't know the answer to your question, but then again I never did understand the fascination people have with soap operas, reading other people's private diaries or even some rather self promoting boring biographies. Maybe it's just that they are trying to equate their own life's experiences with that of others.

the only blogs i read, are the ones posted by friends or people i know. you just learn a little something about that person or know how they are feeling. its interesting at times to know that someone else might be feeling like you do just when u think you are the only one....
