By massive, i hope you mean MMO, (massive multiplayer online), in that case, WoW, Guild Wars are probably your best bet, i know you said besides those, but those are hands down the two best. I have heard of one game called Linear something... ughh cant remember the name sry. If your looking for maybe an online shooter, Battlefield 2 and of course counter strike are very good, but very addicting and with the numbers of serious gamers increasing, it can lose its fun for newbies. If none of this crap helped you out at all, i just want to say sry a head of time. Good Luck finding you game

You should really try looking into Star Wars Galaxies. They've made a lot of improvments and additions.
Try there.com if you want a Sims type of dealie.

shadowbane is another good one. I've also heard good things about Hero Online.

warcraft but you have to pay...or theres adventurequest its not as good as warcraft but its free
