Artist and song title would be appreciated.

Thaks to those who answered with the Cowsills song. However, this is not the same song that plays when he meets her for the first time, three minutes into the movie. It's a cheesy piano/synth/strings type of track. I don't even know if it's a proper song and it may well just be part of the composers score for the movie.

I have the unrated version in my dvd player right now and I scanned the credits and this song isn't listed! Why not?

The soundtrack is excellent, especially on road trips!
