Most likely it just swam away. Steve pulled the barb out from his chest, so the ray was free. And no one on his crew would have hurt it.

One of the news networks said that Bindi Sue was going to finish her father's documentary and swim with the same stingray...I don't know how they would know it was the same one unless they were in a tank when he died, instead of the ocean...
Really I don't think her mom would let her do that...Seeing the tribute from Australia, I was amazed at Bindi's composure for such a young girl who had just lost her father.

ummm... what do u mean if u mean? if u mean how did he die its tail thingy came up & puncured him in the heart! if u mean what happened to the acctual sting ray that did it..who knows im pretty sure it just got away.
