Which products have you tried? I have 3 favorites:
Algaefix by Pondcare
Pond Balance by Interpet
Clear Pond Dry and Liquid together
be sure to know how many gallons your pond has.

You are going to have to get in there and remove as much of it as you can by hand. Then you can buy "pondclear" and this helps keep the water clean. My pond started getting this only after place a pot plant in the water. I think it is the combination of oxygen and sunlight that produces the algae.

you must block the sunlight to get rid of the algae. put a canopy over the pond if you have to
then increase your filtration
do not add catfish as they will grow and kill and eat your goldfish & koi
algae eaters will not overwinter outside

well since its a pond... buy a few live catfish or those little pet fish that stick to the glass. they eat the stuff and theyll add to the ponds quality

Oo..Well I went to my local pet store because that happend all over my tank they reccomended these drops I dont know if that will help though..

try growing talapia if it is legal in your state.
they eat alge and duckweed, and then you can eat them.
Like using cattle to keep the lawn mowed, i guess.
