Asian American, African-American, Jewish-American, This-American, That-American. Good grief why are these stupid labels necessary? And how are they supposed to bring us together when all they do is focus on our outer differences?

But yet they call Republicans racists??

why does the left always label the right?

why does the right always label the left?

why does someone always have to say that the opposite POV labels?

all the racial labels are annoying but some people like to acknowledge thier heritage and if they want to do so .... so be it... as long as they realize that the most important part is that the label doesnt change the fact that we're all people.

now when people blame something on the fact that they are a member of this race or that it does start to get old... sometimes theyre right and sometimes its completely unneccessary...

but the race card doesnt mean anything to me...

im asian american and im telling you that because now you must respect my minoritai!!!! :p'

dont tell me that only members of the left use these labels thats just ridiculous!

It is rather funny in the I have a dream speech Martin Luther King didn't ask for special treatment for anyone, yet the left wants special treatment for everyone, except white males. In other words the white male gets negative special treatment. Yes there are a few at the top, but most of us independent of race or any other defining element are middle to down on the economic scale.

Both parties are today more liberal (buying your vote) than JFK was judging form his inaugural address: "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country."

The wealthy are appearing to be complacent, while the poor have bought into entitlements. Take JFK's words to hart. Give yourself a good education. Now take that education and create wealth for the world. Some of that wealth will come back into your pockets.

What we are entitled to is to be allowed to use our talents to create wealth for the world. We aren't entitled to a standard of living. In the US even the poorest of the poor are wealthier than many in the 3rd world.

I think most of the races rename themselves on a regular basis not the Dem's. Frankly I am very happy to end the race names with American. That at least shows some solidarity. I, too would like to stop separating us, but I am happy to have American somewhere.

To pretend everyone is one race is to deny the diversity of America. We will call the Black what they wished to be called. And they wish to be called Aftrican Americans.

Racism is an intolerance towards race, not the recognition of it.
I would suggest a dictionary, they're very cheap and very useful.

It seems like it is you that is making an elaborate and false claim against "people of the left", labeling and accusing...

seems like that is typical behavior coming from those in your camp. Mr. O'Reily and his sort... ya know?

Knock it off...

Don't you realize that things are getting to be so much more serious now, if we attack Iran, we are going to have to get a grip on our own Government... I don't know about you but I think this is all completely unnecessary, and if it is necessary it is because the Governement in power right now has failed the People, gotten us into a very bad situation on purpose. Who wants that, killing people??? c'mon.

Drop the Libs, Dems, Cons, Repubs, na na na na na stuff... it is getting beyond that don't you agree?

As a liberal (on social issues) I have never automatically accused someone of racism. My question would be: Why do you accuse all the people on the left of accusing you of racism.

Not all Republicans are racist. Some are.
Some Democrats are racist. Others are not.
Racist exists across race, color, religion, ethnic origin, political beliefs etc.

By stereotyping the left, you are being lazy and stereotyping people.

I will stop identifying myself as Asian-American when people stop asking "Where are you orignially from?" That will tell me that we live in a truly color blind society. BTW, the question has been asked so many times it does not bother me.

Its the core of liberals strategy. Blame others and steal the credit for achievements they opposed until their lies could no longer hide the truth.

Republicans don't also say the terms "Asian American, African-American, Jewish-American"?
Wow, and they call ALL Republicans racist?
WOW, who told you this garbage was true?
