The towers were built without central pillars so the weight was on the exterior girders. A marvel till the jet hit the tower spewing jet fuel. The heat of the burning fuel weaken the girders and the towers collasped.

Supposedly because the fire weakend the steel. But if that were true, then the twin towers and the WTC building 7 were the only buildings EVER in history to fall because of fire. Oh and for all of you who say because the planes hit the towers, why did the WTC building 7 fall??? falling debris, made a building fall, I don't think so!

I can't believe the stupidity of people who answered this question and believe the twin towers fell because the planes ran into them. What brainwashing and what narrow minded people in this country who are complacent enough to believe that bunch of lies. The towers were imploded to justify us starting a war in the middle east for oil. Just spend a little time away from answering these questions and start digging up the truth about the 9/11 myth. Clinton was almost impeached over lying about a bj, Bush lies have killed over 10,000 people in his war for oil. Who really deserves to be impeached????????

The simple answer to the question is controlled demolition.

When the two airplanes crashed into the towers the last floor collapsed then the next floor collapsed because of the weight of the top floor and so on.

the heat of the jet fuel burning weakened the steal of the trusses. This caused the top floors to start falling down one on top of another. Then the weight simply was too much for each floor to handle. Then it was a chain reaction.
I hope that helps

The twin towers? A plane hit them and made a smoke cloud and went boom.

Plane full of high octane jet fuel hits building, Building catches on fire,
Fire weakens steal structure,
Steal structure falls down.

Now stop trying to make something out of nothing, give it a rest.

It was bombed by terrorists on 9/11. Thousands died and it was one of the scariest days of my life. How could I ever forget it? That's the cause for this war and I wish more people would see that.
