My theory is that the Others are using the Survivors as experiments. I think that the people that the Others kidnapped ( Jack, Kate and Swayer) will be used in cloning experiments,aand therefore their will be clones of these characters by the end of Season 3.

The island is actually a peninsula in Hawaii. On the season finale the few survivors left will walk up to a gas station with a coconut stand by the curb.

they are lost.
i think the machine that they are stopping is real, it release electro-magnetic forces and will destroy the world.
but the people they called the Others are still mistery. they obviously are not trying to protect the machine as if so then, they won't let Lock's stupidity cause the near death of all in season II final.
i guess they are native islanders lead by a cunny bast@rds. or might be they are all aliens. lol

I think they are all in some kind of coma state after a plane crash and this is some sort of psychological experiment.
