Hey First,

If your idea of good food is the stuff that you won't even feed your dog, then...

They've got GREAT food!

And so does ARCO Am/Pm Mini marts and 7/11!

NEVER, EVER say the words Good Food and the words Olive Garden or Denny's in the same sentence! It's like saying "Betelgeuse" 3 times - you'll never have a good meal again!

I'm not a fan of Olive Garden myself but if its what you got around eat it. Denny's is good for breakfast. Both are in my town but my friends and I never go to them since we have other chains. I would pick Olive Garden over Denny's as I know I can trust them. Ate at Denny's and found egg shells in my eggs. Never a good sign.

If you're a spoiled Italian who has made your own spaghetti sauce since you were a near toddler (because your father is 100% Italian and knows the cuisine) then you won't like the Olive Garden. The sauces aren't authentic and the pasta is not al dente. (It is way overcooked.)

Denny's is inexpensive yet decent food.

For what each one sells, Denny's is a better choice. Olive Garden comes off as way too pretentious, when in fact it's not as good as Denny's because they don't cook the food properly. (Of course, burgers and fries are a bit easier to prepare than chicken marsala!)

If you want decent Italian food from a chain then GOOD LUCK. The best Italian is made at home, but I imagine the best Italian chain out there is Romano's Macaroni Bar & Grill.

I've heard Olive Garden is very good. Forget about Denny's. They're too expensive for the amount of food they serve.

I think both are terrible. Olive Garden doesn't have anything that's even close to being Italian. It's the worst food I've ever eaten. Denny's is nothing special and the service is usually terrible. I went there with a few friends last week and ordered chicken strips, and they even managed to screw those up.

No. Olive Garden is far from resembling actual Italian food. It's awful. Denny's is a grease pit.

Different types of food. However I will admit I think Olive Garden is much cleaner fancier than Denny's. I imagine Denny's having an escape convict in the kitchen cooking smoking with a butt in his mouth at the same time. But hey you can't beat the grand slam. I try not to think about how its prepared or what is crawling in the kitchen.

I do have to add a thought....if the eating area is dirty just imagine what the kitchen looks like....Thats how I judge places to eat. Dirty table, cutlery, just imagine what your eating. ewwwww

I like 'em both. Dennys is good for cheap food late at night. Olive garden has tasty Italian food, and I like their endless soup and salad deals.

I've never been to Denny's, but I love Olive Garden, but you'd have to like Italian food to like it...it's of course not as good as food you'd get actually in Italy...but it is one of the best Italian food places I've been to in the US.
