Louis Vuitton purses are sometimes made of Plastic <-- sorry to say so. but most of the time they use cow leather and sometime eel leather. It varies with the design and line.

Marc Jacobs, the head designer for LV sometimes use pig skin lining as well. So you can't really know unless u ask the sales assistant.
