Heck yea. My ex bf (together one year, broke up for 2 weeks now) promised me the moon and the stars. He wanted to help support me and my children (not his) so I could continue my education. We were planning a vacation and getting married. He broke up w/ me over nothing cause he doesn't want to answer to anyone (I gave him plenty of space) and he wants to drink w/ his friends and go out. What a pig.

I have done that a couple of times. From now on, get to know the person very well before commiting yourself . Let them know from the begining that you have been hurt in the past. Sherry
