In India secularism means a covert operation to suppress Muslims. They can appoint some cronies and mercenaries as Muslim leaders and ask them to say something about shariah, polygamy, talaq and latest one is vande mataram, then act as if you are appeasing the community by defending these values. The patent of this concept is held by Nehru-Gandhi dynasty.
Religiosity means praise the greatness of Hindutva day in and day out and chant some slogas in sanskrit.

Secularism is the policy of a Govt to run the state without giving preference to any religion.
Religousity [?] can not be compared with the secularism as it is not a policy.Religion is purely a personal experience.

secularism means country or people with no religeous thinking or manded where as religiousity is a state of mind where the reliogion is almighty . and the country have its religion belief and provides facility for that religion.
