I want to basicly "tape" carbon fiber to a surface

I just want to screw around and put carbon fiber on random stuff. bored.

I talked to the guy that put the graphics on my old car he said they can make hood sized sheets that look like carbon fibre that you can lay on and it gives the effect of a carbon fibre hood. I think a sheet that big he said would normally cost $300-$600 depending on the messurements. $300 being a 4X5 sheet.
Call you local sign and graphics companies.
Also that stuff is adheasive so no tape required and it lasts a long time.

Why do you want fake and why tape it to a surface? Get the real McCoy and and mold it up to the surface.

I've buy it at Advanced Auto. Kinda expensive though for what you get.
