I am so sorry I didn't realize it cut part of my question off. The entire question is:
I have read that when you form your mucus (sp?) plug at the beginning of pregnancy you can have a snot like discharge. Will you have that if your not pregnant?

It is called a mucous plug, which seals the uterus and keeps infection, etc. out throughout the pregnancy. When the plug comes out, it's called a "bloody show" and usually happens 24 hours or so before labor begins! Good luck! It really means nothing and everyone has that at the time of ovulation!....Could not figure out how to answer you any other way - this discharge does NOT mean you are pregnant...sorry. Kathie

your body forms this plug as a way to protect baby, you lose it shortly before you go into labor. You only have it when your pregnant. You don't get this if your not pregnant.
