That means as low as you can go, Bro. No cash, no wife/husband/lover, no job, no future. Kinda like the actress Margo Kidder [she was in the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN movie back in the 80s - played Lois Lane]. A few years back she was found toothless and burned-out, wandering in a stranger's backyard. Now THAT'S pretty much Hitting Rock Bottom, kiddo.

"rock bottom" means you have either had enough or you are at the end of something that can possibly not go further,so the only other direction is to die or make a complete 180 degrees in the opposite direction
