it's called IGNORANCE. look at the pictures of the one's who spazed out. think about it. Rap music sounds the same now. i don't like it. they have a freaking song called CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP. ARE THEY SERIOUS???????

Well starting off by calling it noise might be a clue why she got some hostile responses! Add to that why she asked the question in the first place since musical taste is so subjective there is no 'point' to rap or any other type of music is there? What kind of answer was she expecting? Add to THAT that most of the responses were supportive and only a few were pissed off. If I asked 'What's up with this redneck, cousin-humpin', pickup truck drivin' country 'music' crap?' of COURSE I'd get irritated responses, and rightly so. No one cares what kind of music your sister likes/doesn't like for god sake! Asking a question in such an inflammatory way just seems like an invitation to get yelled at. And you asking why seem extremely disengenuous to say the least.
Or do females just like to run their mouths regardless of the reason? (There, see how it feesl?)

to be straight honest with you...she has her opinion of what she thinks music is and other people have their opinions. the person that called her a dumb b*tch went overboard but you have to understand that some of the songs relate to some people's real life situations and that's how they live. not all hip hop is about "grabbing nuts and slapping hoes". it was ignorant of her to say that in the first place, no offense. I'm not saying there isn't hip hop like that, but to generalize something like that isn't cool. and just because SHE doesn't like it doesn't mean she can say that its not music.
i love hip hop. some of it is retarded, I'll admit...but theres horrible songs in any genre. my favorite is eminem. the reason for this is because i can relate to him. some of his songs are meant to be serious, but others you can laugh at because you know he's not serious about some of the things he says. to me, he is very talented.
But for her to criticize hip hop is her criticizing a lifestyle, she may not agree with this type of lifestyle but some people are forced to live life in these situations.

Obviously people are going to try to defend there idea's but I totally agree, it's not right to swear at someone just because you don't agree with them, especially someone you have never met before.
