My counselor said that SAT I was more important. So whats the point and significance of SAT II. Is it important to have a high SAT II score just as well as SAT I?

SAT I is far more important. SAT IIs show whether you can learn material in classes and remember it. some people are just good test takers and can intuitively answer simple comprehension questions correctly. to do really well on an SAT II, you have to actually know things. it's so that colleges can verify that your grades mean something.

some schools require you to take three sat 11s in different subjects (probably relating to something you want to major in). look on the websites and applications to see what they want.
