Making love involves tender loving emotions, you almost feel like you are one. The two of you love each other. But, two people who love each can also just have raw sex.
Having sex is just that... bumping , grinding, humiliating....but feels good at the moment. Then it's over and you care very little about the person.

Well, most people would say that the difference lies in how you treat your woman, if you kiss and cuddle long, if you are nice and gentle in your movements, and if you play nice, soft music while on it. On the other hand, having sex is just casual sex without any strings attached and just as to satisfy a basic human necessity

the difference is in the mind of the person doing the act. Two people can be having intercourse and one will be having sex and one will be making love...it's just people using words differently to make themselves feel different about what they are doing

When you have feelings for the other person, care for this person, or even love this person then it is making love. If you have no feelings at all then it is sex.

Hey there,
Making love is when you and your partner are in love and you express your feelings to him/her physically.
Sex, on the other hand, is when a guy sticks it in a woman with no feeling of love toward her, just wanting pleasure.
Sorry to sound rude or anything!

You have to actually be in love with someone to make 'love' to them. Sex is something humans practise for pleasurable fullfillment, so there is nothing extraordinary about 'just having sex'.

Sex involves all of one's body minus one part- the heart. Making love involves all of one's being, body(obvious reason) and soul(mind, will. and emotion)
Someone once told me physical intimacy was like pizza. When it's hot and steamy(making love) it is wonderful, and when it is just there(sex) it is still pretty good.

the two are actually very different;
having sex is a physical act WITHOUT emotional attachment.
making love is the same physical act WITH emotional attachment.
