How do I find a computer job to work from home?

Everything I find on the internet about this is a scam, yet I keep hearing that anyone can find a job working from home. Where are all the legitamate jobs?

I tried the whole survey thing and that was a scam too. I received hundreds of spam for a month after that whole ordeal.

The only computer skills I have are the basic ones like navigating the internet. But I do know microsoft office very well from taking classes.

Well, scammers sit at home doing their scams, but I don't advise that. Prison food isn't very good.

If you have an original idea for a good product or service, you may be able to sell it over the internet.

Otherwise you might want to check with your state employment service and see if they have any home jobs listed, Generally speaking, any job listed with a state employment service should be legitimate.

i work for a mutual fund company from home but I also go into the office a few times a month, but my girlfriend is going to school to be a medical transcriber and maybe you should look into that

If you could start something yourself, that would be best and then you'll know that you're not ripping yourself off!

How about web design, desktop publishing or something like that? Of course, it will take a bit of time.
