It doesn't have anything to do with you. You wouldn't be related to your friend or his brother. Unless you make up some "cousin-in-law" type title.

Really happy!? But not really related to your friend;s brother. He would be like a cousin through marriage. Unless you have an extremely close family, this doesn't really mean much accept that you will see him at family reunions!
