its a trigger point thing, maybe the nerves to eyelashes and mouth connect---who knows, but it is a natural reflex.

when you close your mouth while putting on mascara, the skin around the eyes tightens...so it feels kinda weird (especially if you tilt your head up while doing so). Thus, opening your mouth is only natural

I have not idea why girls do that because I put mine on just fine with my mouth closed, really try it, there is no need for your mouth to be open.

That would be like feeding a baby with your mouth closed. Physically impossible.

Because they just can't be as proficient as Dragqueens. I think Opening the mouth helps strech the skin on the face.

I can, but i think it's because u tilt ur head up so its takes more muscle to close ur mouth and yeah it just happens!

Never have tried,But i think no. Its kind of like feeding a baby you don't know why you open your mouth when they do ,you just do
