Now let me see, wetlands in Arizona. Hmm, along the Colorado River? Mostly preserved as the Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon National Recreational Area. Along the Gila River? Mostly dry except during runoff after thunderstorms. Along the Salt River? Same as the Gila River. Any other rivers or lakes? No. Then what is left to preserve? Nothing comes to my mind.

I wasn't even aware that Arizona had wetlands
