Anything that comes out of hollywood is propaganda, they have found out how to sway the public and get paid in the process, who would ask for more, have you ever seen a prison movie lately where the inmates really are the bad guys?have you ever seen one where something happen that happen wasn't blamed on the military?

The original movie was very entertaining. I don't even remember it having a liberal v. conservative slant. It was nothing more than the story of a naive backwoods politician as he climbed up the ladder and became corrupted along the way.

I really hope the remake doesn't screw it all up because the original is a true classic.

When I read the book I didn't come away with a liberal/conservative flavor. I came away with the sickening feeling that government is so innately corrupt that it corrupts anyone who gets near it.

Personally, I hope the movie will bear that message, that power and the influences of power in American government are so much more corrupt than we would ever want to know.

Considering it is going to be the biggest financial flop of 2006 you can be assured you are correct.

You would guess these people have money to throw away since they continue to try to "sell" propaganda and it just won't work.

You know I really liked Sean Penn before he started using the fame that our dollars gave him to shove his politics down others throats.

it's a remake of a movie by the same name that was made many years ago...

was it liberal propaganda, I don't know... but I think it's about corruption in government... but there is none of that... is there? everyone of them are angels... right?

I think it'll be the movie version of the book. Do you think the book is liberal propoganda?
