TEMPERATURE: In order to flower and fruit, this plant requires warm temperatures above 75° and average warmth (minimum 50°) for plants in flower.

LIGHT: This plant will thrive in full sun so provide the brightest location possible.

WATER: Avoid overwatering these plants. Water when the soil feels somewhat dry to the touch. Mist leaves in the summer, occasionally using liquid plant food at recommended dilution.

Pineapple is a specialty plant and is available on a very limited basis. It is usually grown in 6" or 7" pots.

Having ever grown 1 pineapple, I would suggest planting one in organic rich soil in the full sun. Mine did fruit, but because I didn't plant it as above, the fruit was a bit puny. I grew it after purchasing a pineapple from the grocery store - you know - after you slice the top off - but I planted it in a small pot first until it produced enough roots to support it in the ground.
