Is it easy to get from the airport to the convention center via the CRT? I can't tell if the CRT Rosemont station is within the walking distance of the Stephens Center. Would I be better off just taking a cab? and what's the approx. time to get to/from ORD to the convention center?

Thanks in advance!

It's a one-day trip so the hotel shuttle option is out.
Can someone tell me roughly how much the taxi fare would be? and if there's a direct bus that goes to the convention center from ORD?

Thanks!

The CTA Rosemont stop is only about a mile from the convention center, but it is all major roads and not very pedestrian friendly. Still would take the CTA to the Rosemont station and then a cab from there, because many of the cabs right at the airport will charge a lot more for the trip compared to the local cab you can get at the train station.

Also, are you just there for the day or are you staying over? Many of the hotels in the O'Hare area not only have a free airport shuttle, but will take you anywhere within 5-10 miles of the hotel, which would include the convention center. Definitely worth calling your hotel to check out.
