My cousins love the song "A Little Less 16 Candles, a Little More Touch Me", and they are about that age.
However, I agree with War: Get them into heavy metal.

NONE! Fall Out Boy sucks. Get him into some heavy metal like Metallica, Overkill, Testament, Exodus, etc.
