I believe in stopping someone before a crime is committed IF they have SHOWIN ABSOLUTE evidence they are about to commit a crime.

In this country, it is the law that you are innocent until proven guilty. You can suspect a person all you want but unless they've done something against the law, you cant violate that persons rights. We may not like that but that right is given to every American. You are entitled to your opinion but that's all it should be. That's freedom of speech, another little ditty from our laws. This country is so paralyzed by fear that everyone is afraid of their own shadows, ready to accuse and condemn anyone who doesn't believe like them. Its the government that is feeding those fears trying to manipulate people to do their will. They're the ones that you can take action against legally. I also do not believe in the death penalty. Since when is it right to kill anyone? By killing, you're no better than the person who committed the crime. We have laws for a reason. No one, no organization is exempt. Youre question really opens a whole can of worms about whats going on in our society today. I hope Ive answered youre question?

Stopping someone before a crime is committed by good intelligence and policework, not by nuking anyone that might someday, maybe, could possibly do a crime...as well as everyone of the same race, and maybe a few more races just to be safe, but let the real criminals like Osama bin Laden go, like you conservatives!

A crime isnt a crime untill it is commited. So how would you stop a criminal beforehand. If a crime is HAPPENING then yes, you need to do something about it. Its called utilizing your second amendment rights.

Even at my mellow age, I don't see much point in laying down for an attacking criminal. I have a long list of good things left to accomplish and presumably he has a long list of bad things. I'd say, double-tap him in the head with your concealed carry piece, and be prepared to face the consequences (which there will be).

Well that brings into question whether or not there's really a crime. What if I said I thought you were going to kill me, should you be put on death row?

Only with sufficient proof can we do anything like that.

This country's judicial system works on things that DID and not thinks that COULD.

I believe that until something happens, it has not happened. If someone says that they will kill me, I will try to stop them once they try to kill me. If, in fact they do kill me, I would do nothing.
