you cried...and why?

Last night - a phone call, little things adding up - I was just in a bad place emotionally (and I'm not sure why everything hit me so hard all at once) - Today I'm trying not to worry about things

When my boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) told me he slept with his ex-girlfriend while we were together and then faked leaving town to go be with her two days after I got him out of jail by paying the $1000 retainer fee for his lawyer. This was after one and a half weeks of missing work, visiting jail, meeting with multiple lawyers to find the best one, and racking up a $135 phone bill from his calls, paying $100 bond, and depositing $40 in his jail account so he could eat decently. And before he got arrested, we were talking about moving together out of the state to get away from his crowd and be together in peace. I cried for 24 hours straight, then periodically for a month thereafter.... BEAT THAT! Okay... I just read some of those that beat that. A lot of people dying out there!

The last time I cried was 4 hours ago, becuz My little cuz in going to Hawaii for 6 years. I love you Jade!!!

The last time I cried real hard was June 6, 2006...my friend was being memorialized in my school's Memorial Garden. He died last year.

I shed a few tears last night. I was checking out Spike Lee's new joint, "The Day the Levees Broke" about the New Orleans flood. It was a lot more devastating than watching a few clips on the news.

I cried during the week. I felt the whole world was against me and all I could do was cry. My committee was stressing me, my children just being children, my partner working all the hours. I felt isolated.

I was teary last night looking at my daughter's baby pictures from 1987 and 1988. She's almost 19 and in college.
