One way I am glad he told me and in others I want to say never go back around them again! But.... I am thankful HE can keep them from driving?

I would be so proud of him not only for being a designated driver for his friends and keeping them alive, but also for having the courage to tell his mother about it. That is a good boy you have there!

I would be very very proud of him for doing the right thing, - taking the keys- I would worry myself into a fit that he's in the situation,, but also know that at that age I was hanging out with kids who drank and did pot,, as long as he has a solid foundation from his family he should be able to handle the peer pressure.. Just be sure he knows he can call you anytime to come get him and or his friends without you asking questions or getting mad or telling the other parents,, but make it clear that you don't approve of that type of behavior,,

Be glad that he can and does come to you with these issues. Many kids are afraid to tell their parents about these things. Also be glad that you taught him well enough to have common sense to not let his friends drive like that.

It will be his choice whether or not to hang out with his friends. All you can do is tell him how you feel about his friends and tha you trust him enough to make the right choices. Remember, your kids will continue to come to you if they feel that they can really talk to you.

I be really proud of him. But I wouldn't want him to continue finding himself in that position. I might want to talk with his friends's parents.
