they use air impact guns, and have to pull around a air hose, and the battery powerd guns are just as powerful and lighter now, so i see no reason they wouldnt use them

Dewalt makes a 36 volt that is just as powerful and fast, and batteries last forever. way longer than 10 lugs, also they use sawzalls and other tools that are battery. and ive dropped my dewalt drill from the rafters of a house and it still works great.

I have not seen an electric impact gun as powerful or as fast as an air gun. If they make one, it's new to me. Electric guns are just too slow.

They make electric impact guns that are very powerful now but don't spin as fast as the special air guns supplied to put crews.

I would agree with everyone else...the battery powered ones are not as powerful and not even close to being reliable enough to be used. (At home in your garage, fine) but not when seconds are important. The other tools that they use that are battery powered, are fine since they are not used as much in the race.

Probably because it wouldn't be strong enough, anyway there's gotta b a good reason cuz Nascar is up on nothing but the best and Fastest. They're pit crews wins races. Right?

Pretty much covered. Too slow, not enough power and batteries always crock at the critical moment.

because what happens when the battery powered gun goes dead in the middle of putting on a tire? what if it doesn't put it on as tight and the tire falls off?

probably because it would really bite to have the impact die on you because the battery went dead or if you dropped it and it scattered into 4 or 5 pieces
