I think its great. I did a costume like that once but I was supposed to be Madonna from the 80s. I would add ankle warmers to the outfit or find you some scrunchies socks to wear on the OUTSIDE of your pants. I remember girls used to wear 2 pairs of socks to coordinate outfit colors with a bunch of ankle ruffle. Definitely people will ask about your costume and that's the whole idea at a Halloween party, to wear a conversation starter.

considering OU is one in each of my alma maters i changed into shocked at this STARS team. certain, there must be racially insensitive costumes (like the Arab with a bomb) yet in many circumstances there is not any offense meant and none must be taken. My husband is from the Indian subcontinent, and two times i have dressed as an Indian lady for Halloween. changed into I being insensitive? No, i changed into merely making use of a few thing I already owned that changed into fairly and dropping away in my closet. no one (to the finest of my understanding) had any situation with that or assumed i changed into attempting to be offensive. i'm happy that all and various is hostile to racism and racial stereotypes, yet there is not any desire to bypass overboard searching for racism the position none exists.

I don't understand the mardi gras beads. They weren't a fad of the 80's.

You can buy all that stuff at Old Navy, you may even consider skinny jeans, but most people won't be able to recognize that it's a costume.

how is that a costume. I wouldn't be caught dead in it but lately people are going back to that 80's look.
