dont have one but pretty sure i have a fever. how do i know?

Place your hand on someone else's forehead and your other hand on your own for a minute. Which is warmer? If yours is and the other person's feels cool you may have a fever.

There was actually a study comapring whch was more acurate at telling a fever, an a mother's touch to a child's forehead or axillary temperature. The surprising results were that mom's knew when their child had a fevet, but armpit temperautes are inaccurate. ( I don't think that dads did that well either). SO, if your mom is still a part of your life....
I'm serious about this study even though I've lost the reference- i think it was in Journal of Pediatrics in 2003

Put your hand to your forehead. Thats what my mom used to always do.
