I agree with the replies that such a world would not exist.
Leibniz had an idea -- probably not true, but interesting -- that only certain realities are possible. There is a balance between ordered possible worlds and freedom possible worlds.
And we have our world -- the best of all possible worlds. But where the laws of maths no longer apply, we do not even have a possible world.

Unacceptable Blasphemy.
God does not flick a switch
Heaven does not have a ring main, If God decides to alter the laws of mathematics that is his perogative he does not need a switch.
However the next step would be a great feeling of releif from Gordon Brown that he could now blame god because his figures dont add up

Actually, mathematics cannot be "unapplied" despite his godly powers. Unless he makes us all blind, and takes alway all our fingers, we will still be able to use mathematics.
Being able to count is mathematics. Adding, subtractin and all that good stuff is mathematics. Saying today is 9/22/06 is mathematics. Numbers, symbols, are all mathematics. Your question is a if-then statement. Mathematics. You see, you use it unknowningly and if he took it away, nothing would be left. Im not talking about the acpolypse, I mean that we would no longer advance, no travelling to moon, no thinking, basically. Then, like a broken watch, our world would stop, intellectually.

Nothing will happen because the laws of mathematics don't really do much. Say you go to the newsagent to buy a paper and he says it is 50p and you only have 30p which you hand to him and he counts it and puts it in the till and you take your paper home to number 30 but you actually live in at 78 so you go in and the guys wife says you dont live there but you live at 45 so you go to 78 anyway because it looks like your pad. Keep rolling the smoke!

Why would he do this? The world you know, which is exclusively based on mathematic principles would collapse. You would be standing in the chaos of civilization, nothing would work and you would starve to death a week or so later, since it is likely your hunting and gathering skills with your bare hands is questionable.

i don't see how the law of mathematics has anything to do with your question. it cannot be answered with a mathematical formula.
maybe if God flips a switch, the lights go out.

Yes math can not apply as stated above. When physics are removed this is judgement day. At the end of times physics no longer apply have faith or take the easy road and burn I suppose.

Your question does not apply. God is a God of logic and law. He does nothing that obviates the very laws He had instituted for man.

Things would be the same, but we would have to create a different system of mathematics to explain the universe.

Well, then Bush wouldn't have to steal any more elections, because the person with the least votes would win, even without the Supreme Court stopping the vote count like they did in 2000 in Florida.
