I will say a prayer for him to be safe and make wise choices while he is away from home. Being protective is not a bad thing, now that I am grown I realize my parents were protective because they loved and cared for me. I am sure you are a wonderful mother and hopefully while he is away he will use the values you have instilled in him to make good choices. There is always a chance girls will be there, however your son is almost an adult and should know right from wrong. Kudos to you for being such a loving, caring, trusting parent~

From 2 O'clock to 10 O'clock looks like an prolonged time to have 2 , 5 twelve months olds on a ferry the place you could no longer purely take them abode. What accomodations does the ferry have for eat, drink and potty. in the event that they are appropriate set as much as handle a extensive form of folk then i'd ask myself If i grew to become into as much as spending that lots time with oodles of alternative young ones and dads for this long. I actual have taken my young ones on the ferry throughout Lake Michigan from Frankfort MI to eco-friendly Bay WI an prolonged time in the past it grew to become into quite that long of holiday, it grew to become right into a handful and there have been very few different kidz and we did have seating accomodations and centers. Took our own picnic for nutrition. they weren't twins one grew to become into purely approximately 4 yrs older than the extra youthful so he would desire to help entertain...... So answer from me is i does no longer yet you're able to in case you sense suitable approximately each and all the aspects and sense mushy doing so. Sure. Anything in particular I should be praying for? I'm guessing the standard traveling mercies, safety, and such. Anything else? How's his faith and that of the boys with whom he's camping? Does that need prayer? Is he the leader or one of the teen boys? Let me know if there's anything specific I should be covering. already done! you're a phenomenal parent if you're asking for God to keep your child (and his friends) safe from harm and danger, as they go out on their trip. it's bad enough having to deal with the constant pressures of being a teenager, let alone the crazy people in this world. there's nothing wrong with prayer, so don't listen to the other small minded responses.

And why would they need prayer? is there something wrong with your son, or are you just one of those over protective parents who needs to be slapped into letting go>

I know how you feel. I have 2 teen boys and another one is 22. I worry all the time about them. Your son will be fine.
All the best!
