well I know that its not a quick process. It starts working quickly but takes about three months to really pull everything out. It also detoxes a lot of meds and such from your body. I know Young Living Essential Oils has detox supplements and diets that cleanse your entire system. If you want to read up on it you can go to their web site www.youngliving.com

I have done lots of cleansing. I have tried many different products. It really depends on how much you can handle. I've been reading about a cleanse that is very simple and very cheap to do called The Master Cleanse. If you search it you'll find that it's just water, lemon, grade B maple syrup and cayenne pepper...and some salt flushes. Check it out.
There is also this colon product I've used called Colonix. It worked pretty well for me but while I was on it I was also getting colonics. I highly recommend colonic irrigation. May sound gross but it was a very healing experience for me. If you want more information on my experience feel free to e-mail me. But I think it's best to be getting colonics while you are taking a cleansing product because otherwise the product (be that herbal or whatever) could further compact you. A lot of those cleanses have psyllium and that can get compacted if it's not getting flushed out. That's why colonics are great. The lady who does mine is also a massage therapist and so she did some nice abdominal massage during. Find someone you can be comfortable with.
Other than that...there are lots of cleansing vegetables. Brocolli, beets (you can get a beet juice powder if you'd like. That's what I'm gonna do because I'm too lazy to juice) and you can juice some veggi's. Good luck with getting cleaned out!
Don't forget to take some acidophilus or some friendly bacteria to re-establish your good intestinal flora.

I second The Master Cleanse. It works wonders, especially when included with the salt-water non-enema cleaning.
It's important to pre-fast, fast, then build up food tolerances before trying the Cleanse. This is to minimalize discomfort.
I have done many 1-3 day fasts, starting when I was 17, a fast every 6 months or so, and I try to keep a good diet (raw foods, organics).
Also, if you're looking for foods, most with high fiber content (almost every vegetable) and most fruits will help. Fiber binds to fat and other build-ups on its way out of the body, so you will cleanse yourself that way. With a raw food diet, fasting, and the Master Cleanse, you'll feel better than you ever have.

If you go to a health food store, they all have colon cleansers..I'm sure they all basically do the same thing. If you have the money, there's a site below..but it's a little too expensive for my taste.. As for foods, anything with a high fiber content would clean your colon

Get some "Super Colon Cleanse". You can buy it online, at a GNC or other health food store, or even on ebay. It really works. Hope this helps!

Well... when my friend needed to get a colonoscopy they gave her 'Go Lightly'. Its a liquid laxative, you dissolve a powder into water.
So when they were examining her colon, do you think they saw any 'impacted matter'?????
I suppose if you must, psyllium husk does a nice job of 'clearing things out' or do a liquid fast....

Contrary to popular belief, junk can't build up in your colon and you have no need to cleanse it. So those infomercials are bunk.
