I have been having some very seriously bad cramping AFTER my period, for about a year and 3 months. I told the gyno but she said not to worry about it(it was like she didnt care adn just wanted to get me out of her office!!). I have been on the Pill for about as long as i have been geting these painful cramps and wasnt sure if that could be the problem or not. If anyone has any idea of what might be wrong or what to do, i would appreciate responses! THANKS!!

I had the same thing for years, and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. I feel you should find a new gyno. and go get a good check up. Good luck.

The second time I was on birth control pills I had no period, tons of pain and break through bleeding if I had intercourse.......turns out the pills were too weak and i was in serious danger of hemorraging.....they put me on high dose ones that day to build the lining up.

The last time I was on pills I kept getting some horrible cramps and pain right after my period......they kept increasing the dose but I knew I was still ovulating....I can feel it. An epic battle was going on each month......I gave them a year to adjust then I said screw it......God wants me fertile, I am not fighting it anymore.

You might be doing the same thing, battling it out to see if the chemicals or your body will win. For me I was getting some other interesting things, I had just gotten divorced and my body temperature was higher, as was my blood pressure...not high, just not abnormally low anymore. My dr laughed and said I was being suppressed anymore.....but she also took 6 vials of blood to make sure nothing else was going on......one of those tests told her I wasn't heading to menopause as I was ovulating nicely.......so I might as well quit taking the pill it wasn't working anyway!

Go to a different Doctor and tell them what you have said here.

I complained to a bad Dr. for YEARS and then I got new insurance and a new Dr. and he did a laproscopic procedure and found I had Endomitriosis and Displacia.

I have to take meds now and it's much better.

Along with definitely getting a second opinion... you may also want to try exercise and caffeine.

Good luck - hope the doc has good words for you.
