Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
For your question, the make of the air filters are helpful.
Did you switch from paper to foam?
Are the air filters out in the open, or do you have them in an enclosed air box?
Well...whatever. Rain won't have any noticeable effect. Doesn't matter what air filters you use.

That's hard to answer without knowing what type of filters and bike it's on. But if it's for individual carbs it will not affect anything unless you are exposing it to conditions that would allow a substantial amount of water to get to the air filters. Anything other than the stock air box is going to create a situation where the carbs are more exposed to the elements but thats the trade off for higher performance.

sorry, not enough info to answer this question properly.
but a friend had to put socks over his filters on his bike when riding in the rain. an those where open filters, on a S&S closed loop fuel injection system by the way..mounted on a 125 inch Harley motor.
Of course we're not talking about his foot socks, but they'll work in a pinch.....

I ride a VTX 1800 with the Pro Hyper Charger on it, it has a huge open face to suck in tons of air and the rain has never affected me. So I would guess you are safe.

it shouldn't have any affect on it . but you are giving your motor more air than it's tuned for at stock settings so you could have a problem with the jetting or you could have your carburators tuned witch isn't a bad idea. you know more power!!!

lose the air filters on your bike... it just makes it harder to pedal -- especially in the rain!
