An old man was walking along a beach, reflecting on having lived the best life he could. Next thing God is walking beside him saying you are going to die soon and you have done well my son. Is there anything I can do for you before you die.

Man says, I always wanted to visit Hawaii, but I am terrified on planes and I get seasick, could you please build me a bridge so I can drive there?

God says, my son I can do that but you need to understand the logistics of what you are asking and the impact such a structure would have on the world. Is there anything else I can do for you?

The man replies, Well then can you give me an understanding of women?

God says, that bridge, two lanes or four?

There is a tale in the King Arthur epic about this. Once, a giant knight all in green appeared at Camelot and challenged any knight to exchange blows with him. They were all suspicious, for he might be a sorceror. He said they must be cowards, so Arthur's young nephew Gawain (Gawayne, Gawaine) arose to save the honor of the Round Table. Magic made him as strong as seven men at noon, but that grew and diminished earlier and later in the day. He drew his sword and cut off the giant's head with one mighty stroke. The Green knight picked up his head, placed it back on his neck and told Gawain how to reach his castle. In a year, he would return the blow. Gawain could avoid being slain if he answer a question for this Green Knight. It was, "What do women want?" For almost a year, Gawain travelled and asked may people this question. Everyone had a different answer. Did Gawain find the right one and save himself?

You know, this is in La Morte D'Artur. This knight has to answer this question. He quests about for a year and a day and all that good stuff. The answer to it? What women most deeply desire is their will.
In other words to get their way and to be able to make their own decisions. A question asked 500 years ago--and the answer is STILL the same. Cool, no?

More than men have.

No, it's true. Women always set their requirements higher than their partner can reach. Then if their partner gets more money or intelligence or physical strength and becomes able to reach that requirement, the women set it even higher, because they enjoy watching the men struggle in vain to reach this impossible goal.

women want security, warmth, comapnionship, romance, someone to grow old with. Clothes that always make you look good, money to burn, food with no calories that taste good too, and when they get too old or bored to date, they want grandkids to spoil
