Think about it. Everybody and their mother now has one. Men and Women have them. It's a trendy fashion statement. And most people will regret having it in 15 years. Just like Mullets. But it won't go away.

Not. You can always cut your hair. But if you get a tattoo, you have to consider it basically permanent.

I won't regret a single tattoo I got. The majority of them where when I was in the service and the fact that I'm stamped with RECON on my back is something that only a small fraction of the human population will ever realize. The trendy tat's may get old but not the ones with meaning.

Not everyone has it as a "trendy fashin statement"
I don't really think many tattooes are pretty at all.
Im 15 and as most teenagers think.... I want a tattoo.
But I want mine to meen something. If I do get one it will be in memory of my father who passed away when i was 8. I would get it small and on my sholder, a symbol of the Grateful Dead (band my dad was obsessed with -Dead Head) with 69-99 under it.

But I am seriously having second thoughts of getting one at all -atleast until im older. But Im making sure I think it all through before I do anything.

tattoos r not something new i think tattooing has been an eurasian practice at least since neolithic times ...... tattooing in japan is thought to go back to the paleolithic era, some ten thousand years ago. Various other cultures have had their own tattoo traditions, ranging from rubbing cuts and other wounds with ashes, to hand-pricking the skin to insert dyes. So beck then it was something like a tradition tattoos have served as rites of passage, marks of status and rank, symbols of religious and spiritual devotion, decorations for bravery, sexual lures and marks of fertility, pledges of love, punishment, amulets and talismans, protection, and as the marks of outcasts, slaves and convicts but now tattoos becomed some sort of body art weared by youngsters because they think its cool and some may regret that they done some when this tattoo trend will fade away or when they will find the art on them boring or they will regret if the tattoo on them was choosen just to follow the trend but means nothing to them (anyways who cares for stupid "fashion" followers they have to support the consequences for theyr actions and not us)

I've had my tattoo for 14 years, and no regrets. That's like saying wearing clothes is a trendy fashion statement. Sheesh.

I got my first one when I was just 18 that was 16 years ago. I have 7 total and not one of them will ever be regretted. I am going to get my next one shortly to commemorate the birth of my son. Each and every one means something special to me. Like the one I got the day before I shiped out to Iraq, or the one I got the day before I left to see my father for the first time in 10 years. Or the one I got after my relationship was over. Or the ones I got as protectors of my soul.

I think Tats are fun and creative. Each one has something to say about someones unique personality. Mullet's on the other hand... what are they?? I think it was a made up hair style when there was no style!! LOL

Depends on the tattoo. (I have very rarely seen an attractive mullet, tho!)

Personally I have never liked tattoo’s, they fade and become very ugly as you get older. And it’s like every girl you meet has them not only that but the Art work (if that is what you can call it) is usually always crap.
