Go to a divorce lawyer, ask fee for simple divorce. Tell lawyer you don't know wife's location. The lawyer will prepare a Public Notice that will run in the newspaper in the last city or town in which she lived before she went to Spain. If no answer or objection to the notice, you'll be a divorced man in a matter of not much time.

You ask the Court for a Warning Order Attorney to attempt to serve her at her last known address. It is a legal loophole and after 50 days the judge will give you a default divorce.

Like one other person said, all you have to do is go ahead and file. The court will attempt to find her and serve papers, and if she does not respond after a certain period of time, it turns into a default judgement. That is how a lot of people win divorce cases actually. That is how my mom won, since my dad just refused to show up, so she got everything she asked for...lol.

I can't imagine why you can't just ask a lawyer or the court system. They should have the answer.

All you have to do is post your divorce in the newspaper for a specified amount of time in the place you were married.

you have to run ads in the newspapers where you last knew she was living....you can also try the state dept if she is a US citizen. Your county can tell you exactly what you have to do....when my sister did it it was like 30 days.
