If it starts to get violent and all you do is fight and argue all the time, and at times you might even throw things at each other then it is time to walk away befor someone gets hurt. Don't stay in a bad marriage for the kids sake, because if the kids see you fight all the time the little psyches are getting screwed up anyway. Better to call it off as friends than to fight over the kids and everything else and blood enemies.

Some people would say when love is gone but that isn't true. Love can be returned to a marriage. It is time to it go when a spouse is no longer beneficial to the other. For example, one spouse is affecting the relationship in a negative was and is being totally disrespectful.

Well it depends, mostly when YOU are ready too. I can tell my sis to give up on her marriage until I am blue in the face but until she gets tired of being treated like sh*t she is not going to leave.
I was married to a totally abusive jerk off for 10 years I decided it was a good idea to give up when I started standing over him while he was sleeping thinking of how good it would feel to bash his head in with something!
Ya know just decide for yourself.

Ladies: If you have children, you don't give up on a marriage, unless he is beating you or abusing the children.
If you are a man, you don't give up on a marriage unless she is sleeping in your bed, with different men, in front of your eyes!!! Then, if you have kids, you don't give up on the marriage.
If you don't have any children, take no crap. That goes for either party.

Marriage should last forever. The moment you start to think of given up several excuses will begin to come round your head asking you to seize the moment and break the relationship.

When all the love is gone, you don't want to out with each other, they get on your nerves, over all the thrill is gone. You'll know when to finally just feel you have had all you can take with this person. You get the feelings I could care less. You just sick of looking at them., if they touch you just clam up.

When only one person is putting in all of the effort to make it work out. Every relationship in life takes at least two people in order for it to work out.

Other indicators are abuse, affairs, and professional help doesn't seem to work.

You don't get married or later in life you change your mind and give it a try. Not being married doesn't mean you can't be involved, try and find someone who also isn't into marriage.
