80% of the main stream or antique media are admittedly Democrats.
So if your a liberal Democrat, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC etc. is to your liking. You will notice they will all use the same "key" words or uphamisms.
If you are a conservative you may want to seek out alternative news sources or the "new media" such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Medved just to name a few. Usually on AM talk radio or FOX. Although FOX leans conservative, it does seem to cover both sides.
I listen to more new media, but do listen to the old media too but it's so depressing I can't take too much of it.
The new media is much more thought provoking and stimulating with an optimistic viewpoint.

The media is biased, some more than otheres, but none the less soem are to a certain extent. the media reports what it wants to reports, what it think is appealing and will draw an audience and hence increase ratings. Most media organization contort stories, put in their own view point, and have totatally forgotten about objectivity

I think media has a tendency to be bias. I think one must learn to be a discerning reader. The least biased news sources I know of are:
The Guardian (formerly the Manchester Guardian)
The Christian Science Monitor
The Utne Reader
The Beijing Review

If you consider that the majority of the "media" is owned by huge corporations whose only consideration is to make you interested enough to tune in or buy a copy of their media, then you could say there is a bias. The "media" is there to make money. Most TV news does not tell the whole story - they just want to make you "upset" so you'll tune in tomorrow. Stop watching it. Read the news you are interested in on the web or in print and read from more than one publication. You won't be so angry.

I think it's too biased in favor of getting more ratings. That's why it keeps telling us what we want to hear, rather than what we need to know. They're not ideologues, they're just whores. There's a difference.

I think we need to write our own stories and share them with family, friends and immediate neighbors, we can really use a new starting over day.

I think they're too conservatively biased, if you ask me. The big stories that we *should* hear get glossed over or not covered at all.
