Being a ex serviceman myself I am fully aware of how hard the separation is. I am having a hard time with your question and line of thinking.
I remember returning home after several months deployment and it was like a honeymoon all over again. Each time I came home it was that way, until the last time I came home and she was gone, pregnant with my child, a child I never got to give a hug to until 26 years later.
My first question would be: Did you marry him after he entered the Marines? If so, then you knew going in that be apart was part of the bargin. If so, then you will never know how much it means to him to come home to the woman he loves.
I guess the only advice I can give you is do the honorable thing, stand by your man. I assume you took wedding vows something to the extent of "love, honor, and cherish through sickness and health until death do you part."
Think about those vows, think about how you will affect his life if he comes home to an empty house. Really think about it.

This is really sad, because it may be different if he was at home to be in your relationship. As much of a great service he is doing, by obeying his commander in chief, your family has fallen pray to avery strange view of "family values." But not to get all political here. Everything you are feeling is quite normal. You have one life to live and you wanted a partner and now you have one but you dont...
You need to reevaluate your plan.. If you dont have kids, you may want to move on and give yourself a normal life. You are entitled to that without any guilt. Being in a military family is a choice and you can make it.
If you do have kids, then you should try and work it out and if all else fails, reevaluate. Your happiness is also important to the well being of you children here or to come in the future. G'Luck

Your not falling out of love with you husband it is loneliness and abandonment that you are feeling right now. It is hard being apart from one another. You are not the only one that feels this way. Go to a support group this will help get you through the tough times. Remember it will not always be this way if he is worth it stick with him. Good guys are hard to find.

I was married 14 years with two kids, one day (she's now my X wife) said to me that she "needs more" and I caught her cheating, well let me tell you this; we are now divorced and I am happy and re-married with 2 more kids and she is still alone and miserable, my kids with her suffered through a respectful, but still- a divorce; but it's still tough for her, turns out what she thought was lacking in her marriage, SHE was lacking in her self from her upbringing and it's also effecting her ability to have any decent new relationships. I say count your blessings your with a "good man" as you say and tell him how you feel ...communicate, trust and respect are the three things that keep it going. Maybe there can be changes made to get you guys more time together. good luck god bless you both.

Your feelings are understandable. Mt suggestion would be to try to communicate more often. There are so many means of communication these days, e-mail, cell phones on and on..... Him being in the service is hard for everybody in the family, especially you as you are his wife.
Try to stick through these hard times and keep communicating!

You are lonely right now. All you have in a picture and
emptiness. Try to do volunteer work, or get a job you
like. See if you still feel the same way.

you need to sit down with him and tell him how you are feeling. If he doesn't have much longer on his enlistment, consider the possibility of him getting out. There are plenty of support groups on base which are all free. But most importantly, let him know how you feel. If he doesn't know a problem exists, he can't fix it.

How much time does he have left in the military? Can you write love notes back and forth to each other to kind of keep up the spark?
