Kenshin says it all the time, and it sounds so cute! What's it mean, exactly?

I've been curious all this time why Kenshin tends to say "Oro?".

I don't have any idea... but I think it either means "Huh?", "What?", "Nuuuu!" and so on... Whatever is is, Kenshin sounds sooooooooo cute when he says it!! XD

Tthe important thing to remember is that it's not a real Japanese word or expression. It's simply something Watsukisensei made up for the character

That question is answered a lot in the kenshin forums. You'll get a more specific answer there.

Its kind of like saying "Huh?" or "Whaa?". You use it if you are confused about something (think it can be used if you're surprised as well).

when kenshin says "oro oro", he doesnt really mean anything. its more like an expression. its something that some anime characters say "i hate it-su", or "i'll do my best-su". they just say it for no particular meaning. oh, and after some time, he's gonna stop saying it, and say it back again after a while
